Terracotta dish - Engobe decor

This terracotta dish is handmade. It is decorated with engobe technique : clay is prepared separately and added to the pot, then decorated with arabesques or decors. 

You can use terracotta bowls to cook in the oven (inluding in a micro-wave) or as tableware.

Instruction of use: before using your bowl for first time, put it into cold water for 45 minutes to one hour. Then put it into the oven for a few minutes, on low temperature to dry it completely. 

Not suitable for dishwashers : terracotta will react by losing its color if washed in a dishwasher.

As these bowls are handmade, slight differences may appear between two pieces.
