Enamel steel mug 400 ml, “Arabesques” design inspired by the Silk Road.

This 400 ml enamel steel mug is made in Serbia by Metalac, a manufacturer of enamelware based in Gornji Milanovac since 1959. Its design features arabesques inspired by the Silk Roads. Lightweight (around 260 g) and durable, it is suitable for hot and cold drinks, at home or for camping, hiking and vanlife.

Why an enamel mug?
Vitreous enamel is a layer of glass fused to steel at high temperature. The result is a smooth, non-porous surface: it does not retain odours or flavours and gives no metallic taste, unlike some bare metal cups. The steel provides the strength and lightness that have made enamelware a classic of traditional kitchens and campsites alike.
