Wool is a natural animal fibre obtained from sheep, goats, yaks or camels. These animals have a thick fleece that traps air to protect them from the cold, as air is a poor conductor of heat.
Wool comes from the soft undercoat of sheep (not the coarse outer hair). To transform it into felt or yarn, it goes through several steps:
Soft, durable and water-resistant, wool has been used for thousands of years to make both functional and decorative items: home décor, indoor/outdoor accessories, children’s toys, festive items and more. It is the perfect material for comfortable, hard-wearing and long-lasting slippers.
